Default Cormorant with red colouring around beak?

I thought I was taking a picture of a regular cormorant in flight flying in-land. It was taking pictures at a very long distance but the photos do distinctly pick up redness around the beak. Is this a different type of cormorant?

It looks like an ordinary cormorant to me.

There is a continental subspecies sometimes seen in this country but its not known to have a red face and it wouldn't be identifiable at this range.

I think any perceived redness is likely to be an effect produced by a combination of light and distance.

Indeed, it would appear to be a regular cormorant, thank you astafjevs!
