Default Where do you see species not here in the uk wild?

I have a transport problem and I care for an elderly parent so have to organise my spare time accordingly so the question I would like to ask is do you go to captive collections to see birds from other regions of the world or do you travel to the countries they stay in.

I myself unfortunatly have to see them in captive collections even though I don't really agree with them but they do have there benefits like helping the endangered species which collections have you been to and what was the highlight of your visit?
