Re:Its like a Great Tit but..... - 2007/12/09 19:39 Here are some other photo's....

The RSPB guy who advised was...Ian Peters - Wildlife Advisor, The Lodge.

It wasn't me that saw the bird....I was just asked to help identify, as I'm a volunteer on the Hants Wildlife Trust reserve near where it was seen.

Tim

Re:Its like a Great Tit but..... - 2007/12/10 12:14 Hi Tim

Thanks for the new image of the Blue Tit, sorry if I sounded over skeptical, although it is easier these days to manipulate images, I was more interested in finding out more about this particular bird. I am very interested in any variation in plumage in birds and always study birds very closely for these variations.

I have been birding since the mid seventy's and the thing that keeps me going is the fact that there is always something more to learn.

I will contact Ian at the Lodge and see what info he has on the occurrence of these birds

Regards, John
