? Brambling - 2008/07/30 05:53 [img] Hi
We saw this bird whilst on holiday in Croyde, North Devon, on 29th June this year. I think its a brambling but reading about it it's usually a winter visitor and by June should be long gone. Can anyone confirm?
Thanks - hope this comes out OK

Re:? Brambling - 2008/07/30 17:01 A Brambling in Devon in June would be extremely unlikely, it would be interesting to see the image though!
Birds don't always do what it say's in the book.

Cheers, John

Re:? Brambling - 2008/07/31 05:26 Thanks John
That's what I thought. Have tried to attach photo but obviously didn't work. Try again - any tips if not successful?
Regards
Jeff
