Had a fun day yesturday - 2007/02/22 16:54
I went out with my college turtors and a women from BBOWT(Berkshire,Buckinghamshire,and Oxfordshire wildlife Trust) yesturday and we went to one of the nature reserves.
She got use to cut and then burn some goshberry bushes(or something like that,it`s a prickly bushy plant) to let the Heather underneath to grow,because the goshberry bush was stopping the Heather from growing.
Anyway before we was at the place,as we was walking towards it we heard a woodpecker (first for me) pecking at a tree(can feel it pecking lol) we also saw a couple of Robins, and then when we got there we saw a Jay (first for me) and on our lunch break we saw a Redkite circeling above, then it did an amazing thing that i`ve never seen before, it dived down.
Lol the most amasing thing i`ve seen.
Then on the way home we saw a Lesser Woodpecker fly straight across the path.
Anyway, just thought i`d share this with you all, i had a wicked day out lol.
I`m now vollunteering with BBOWT on Wednesday want to do it most of the week.
Well happy and well looking forward to Wednesday.
Oh and i got a ride in my Dream car and the car i want the Mitsubishi L2000 Warrior.
