Pentax DCF HRC 8x42 Binoculars - 2007/08/29 02:26 Greetings to everybody. I just purchased a Pentax DCF HRC 8x42 binocular off of Ebay. I wasn’t quite sure about them because I couldn’t find any reviews (most likely because they only came out in March 2007) but I’m very happy with them. They have Bak-4 prisms that are fully multi and phased coated, and are incredibly light, so you don’t get any strain when wearing them around your neck. The best part for me though is the field of view, at 393 feet. My last binoculars only had a field of view of 305 feet. This larger field of view really makes a difference and it doesn’t make you feel like your looking through a tunnel. You also get to see so much more and it is much easier to spot birds, which is what I use mine mostly for. If you are looking for a reasonable pair of binoculars for a good price then I recommend the Pentax DCF HRC binoculars. But also to get that good price you will have to go on Ebay. That’s if the guy is still selling them. I got the binoculars for 40% off, which is about £50 cheaper then any other store on the internet. If he is not selling them any more than I recommend doing some research on the internet before you buy. It is the best way to find the best price. Shopping in high street stores is a bit old fashion now I think. But you also have to be careful on Ebay. Make sure the person has good ratings. If I can find the guy who sold me the binoculars I’ll come back and put it on my message here. By for now. [img]
