Goldcrest and electric shaver - 2006/10/05 16:33 I saw some very interesting behaviour from a Goldcrest several years ago.

One morning my Mother asked me to go and get my Grandad who was upstairs getting ready. We'd heard his electric shaver whirring away for quite some time and wondered what on earth could be delaying him.

I got up stairs and went to his room where I found him holding his electric shaver up to the window - he was getting forgetful at this time of life, so I put it down to that.

On further inspection he pointed out the window where I saw a Goldcrest going mad and attacking the window trying to get at the shaver!

It was quite amazing as the Goldcrest was very persistent and only switching of the shaver made it stop.

Has anyone else heard of something similar?
