Crows again - 2006/04/08 07:59 During the winter we have more than a pair of crows, we have about five. We see these crows in our garden every day especially when we put out kitchen scraps. They spot this straight away and fly in close waiting until we go.

I watched carefully one morning as they arrived one by one, the first arrivals didn't seem at all interested in the food and just hung around near by.

There were five of them in total once the largest one with the hackles arrived and promptly tucked in.

Once he'd had his fill the others took it in turns to tuck in.

I'm supposing they have a pecking order. Is this unusual or has anyone else seen similar?
