Estuary Trip - 2005/12/15 06:50 Wonder if anyone can be of assistance.
My husband is a keen bird watcher - I am fairly ignorant on the subject!
I would like to arrange a short break for him, somewhere in the U.K. where he could bird watch to his hearts content.

He is particularly keen on estuaries.
Any suggestions for good estuary spotting - preferably with comfortable accomodation near by (overlooking the estuary always goes down well!).
Many thanks.
Ida.

Re:Estuary Trip - 2005/12/15 06:51 What time of year do you want to go? Estuaries tend to be busy with birds at certain times of year, so you need to specify when you're going in order to make the best choice.
