Tips (how to get better shots of garden birds) - 2006/04/18 23:11 Most garden bird photos are taken either on a feeder, table or bird bath. Well here's a handy tip to better your garden bird shots.

First find a nice branch then get a feeder what you do next is put the feeder in a place where theres nothing behind it creating a blurred background. Then afix the branch sercurely (no movement) close to feeder or to feeder or even to feeder and tree, then set up your camera on a tripod manualy focused on the branch.

You can use timer but its better with remote, next sit down relaxing with a beer or soft drink and click away every time a bird lands on the branch, the birds will use this branch to wait on until they get there turn to use the feeder. Just leave it set up and youll get nearly all your garden birds using this branch, and youll get lots of satisfiying results.

good luck
