Re:The Top Easy Places - 2005/12/15 06:38
A good place to start to watch birds is at your local Wildlife Trust reserves. Many of them have hides and you can purchase a key from your local office which fits all the locked ones. In Northumberland where I live some of the trust hides have identification charts on the walls and notepads where you can jot down what you have seen. Some even have spare binoculars!
Anyone already in the hide will be happy to point species out to you. Birdwatchers, in my experience are always happy to help share their knowledge and enthusiasm. Happy birdwatching!
