Trip to the UK - 2005/12/15 06:47
Hi all! I'm a birder, but in the US! I don't know UK birds OR good spots to bird. I'll be in the UK the 1st 2 weeks of November with my sister (who has JUST started birding here) - and I'm sure I can drag her to a few spots to bird!! I'll list where we'll be & any help on good spots nearby those areas would be GREATLY appreciated!! Thanks!
Nov 3,4,5 in the Cotswolds area, staying near Stow-on-the-Wold.
Nov 6 - Warwick to Leicester
Nov 7,8 - Petersborough, Saffron Walden area
Nov. 9, 10 - York, Barton-Upon-Humber area
Nov. 11, 12 - Oldham, Peak District area
Nov. 13-15 - Shropshire area (mainly western, but we're flexible!)
I already know that we don't have enough time in the places we'll be (we're seeing folk concerts in some of these areas, that's why we're jumping around some).
