Bushnell Discoverer 8x42 binoculars - 2007/07/24 21:52 Hello everyone. I just wanted to share how happy I am with my new binoculars. I just purchased the Bushnell Discoverer binoculars off Ebay and they are amazing! They have the clearest and brightest view out of all the binoculars I have tested. And I have tested a lot: Pentax DCF HR II, Nikon Monarch, Olympus Magellan … They have an incredible 420 feet field of view at a 1000 yards, with Bak -4 prisms, are fully multi coated, PC-3 phase coated, and also have a patented XTR optical coating that delivers amazing light transmission. They also come with a protective rubber armor that makes the binocular feel so nice to hold. I usually would not be able to afford such an expensive binocular but this guy on Ebay is selling them for only £259, which is over £100 cheaper than anybody else in Britain. If anybody is interested his ebay site is http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/sgainford. He seems to be selling some Pentax DCF HRC binoculars at a real cheap price also. I’ve never tested those so I’m not sure how they are. But I definitely recommend the Bushnell Discoverer binoculars!
