Re:Bluetit Puzzle - 2007/09/02 05:34 We had the exact same behaviour from a male Blue tit during nesting earlier in the year and the best idea we could come up with was to attach a net curtain - for fear of the bird injuring himself.
This worked perfectly and one of the resultant chicks came back to roost in another nest box we'd set up as you can see from the pic below.
